What we collect, and why

Newsletter sign-ups

If you submit the newsletter form, we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name. We use these solely to send you development updates, trailer and demo news, and launch announcements for Void Inc. We ask for your explicit consent before subscribing you (double opt-in): you’ll receive a confirmation email and are not added until you confirm.

Your email is processed and stored by our newsletter provider, Buttondown, acting as our processor. Their systems handle delivery, confirmation, and unsubscribe handling. We do not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone else.

Embedded video

The trailer is served as a self-hosted video file and plays only when you click it. It does not load any third-party player or set third-party cookies.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels, and does not use cross-site tracking. We do not run analytics that profile you.

Server logs

Like almost all websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical request logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for security and to keep the service running. These logs are retained by the host for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you.

How long we keep information

We keep your newsletter details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, after which they are removed from active mailing lists. Server logs are retained only for the short period set by our hosting provider.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of every email we send. This immediately stops future mailings.
• Access, correction, or deletion, email hello@theoccultarcade.com and we will action your request. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes (for example, if we add analytics). We’ll revise the “last updated” date above when we do. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
